Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Girnia website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We build software that helps companies be transparent about their security practices, so we have tried to hold this page to the same standard: short, specific, and honest.

Who we are

Girnia, Inc. ("Girnia", "we", "us") operates the website at girnia.com. The site describes a product that is currently in early access. This policy covers the website only. When the Girnia product becomes generally available, use of the product itself will be governed by a separate agreement and privacy documentation provided to customers at that time.

What we collect

We collect very little, and we have set the site up so that most visits leave no personal data with us at all.

That is the complete list. The site has no account signup, no forms, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers; Google may log standard request data such as your IP address as part of serving those files.

How we use information

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision making.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. If you email us asking for early access, you will hear from us about Girnia and nothing else, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the site and our email, such as our hosting provider, Cloudflare for analytics, and our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Retention

Aggregate analytics data contains no personal information and is retained per Cloudflare's standard retention for Web Analytics. Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is useful for the purpose you contacted us about; if you ask us to delete your correspondence and remove you from our early access list, we will do so within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can browse this site without providing any personal information. If you have emailed us, you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and we will honor valid requests made under those laws.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is material, for example if we add a new category of data collection, we will make that clear here rather than burying it.
